PART ONE-AN EXPLANATION
This page came into being as a result of being "banned" by Bob Marion, moderator of the Yahoo Club known as webringnews. I came to this "club" as a result of becoming aware of the changes regarding the Webring.org ring management program. Being a member of several rings and a Ringmaster of one new ring established on 8/6/00,I received the email from the "new mangement", and went to Yahoo to see what was new. I thought that perhaps the change to Yahoo was a good thing, that Yahoo would, with its increasing presence in other media , promote the ring concept and help it grow. After looking around in Yahoo's front pages and seeing nothing about Webrings, I dug a little deeper and found webringnews and several other lists. I read all of the existing posts in several of these discussion groups before posting to them myself. All was going well until I brought up questions relating to design issues and other related matters. After one particular post, I discoverd that I could no longer access the club. Well, well I thought to myself, censorship exists here. Nothing in my post was off topic, it had no offensive language, was certainly not pornographic, illegal or anything not permitted per the T.O.S. So I went and got another Y!ID and came back. However when I did this I did so in a browser that gave out with an alert box warning me about "illegal cookies". I was instructed to contact the "webmaster" about setting "illegal cookies". With my new Y!ID, I brought up the old questions and tacked on the questions about the "illegal cookies". These posts went over like a lead ballon and I got banned again. To date I have been "BANNED BY THE BOB" fourteen times under various Y!ID's, but the Yahoo system is such that all one needs to do is get a new Y!ID and carry on. Within the next few days I will put up some new pages with the contents of the deleted posts which caused me to be banned. Other pages soon to appear will point to links where more can be learned.

PART THREE-A PROACTIVE RESPONSE
Below
are examples that represent the efforts of two persons trying to join as many rings
as possible in response to those difficult issues arising from the changes applied
to what used to be Webring.org by the dull entity known as Yahoo.
The first
set is that of the eminent RingMaster James S. Huggins.
The first set is currently called the "Wazillion NavBars Project".
